Fungus the Loon knocking himself out on quad skulls still brings a smile to my face. :-) Thanks to higher TS I could take them breaks and still come out on top, but Purplegoo sure gave me a run for my money. And like you said, I was a complete lucker with the T16 TD (needing a AG4 dodge to help the Troll, then a POW from him and a blockless BOB, then a dodge, 2 GFI, pickup and quick pass from a Lino and finally catch, double dodge and 2 GFI from the Goblin).

GG Purplegoo, well played and see you around. Rematch anytime.

Well - I'm glad I took the game in the end, it seemed a dumb decision with the TS and rubbish handicaps to begin with, but it turned out fun, and there wasn't much else happening early in the morning.

Game changed on an 8/9 first half roll. Got the Orcs to score early, had my chance to stick out a Ghoul to go in at 1-1 and have a whole half to grind myself a win, and it bombed.

Second half, Orc AV broke pretty well, and I took the decision to score in T6 and go for the win (T5 was a pushback nightmare) instead of stall to a probable tie. The win wasn't forthcoming, but instead some very lucky stuff from MadTias on T16 made it into a loss.

So, looking like a loss from the outset, through a game I felt I maybe even should have won on balance, to a loss in the end, pretty mad stuff.

I'll be wanting a rematch Mr. Tias, Sir. Twas fun, and I feel a bit robbed. ;)
