“The undermanned Harlequins challenged the Lizzies and it soon turn lopsided with the Harlequns losing their Thrower on the first turn (BH) despite getting a Blitz! to put pressure on the opposing backfield.

A bit of luck saw the Lizzies recover the ball from their end zone and make a Long Pass and take the ball upfield to safety where they scored.

On the next drive, the Harlequins were intercepted (6) and the Lizzies advanced the ball upfield and handed the ball off to a Saurus for the 2-0 lead after stalling 1 turn.

The Harlequins had 2 turns and no RR to score a reply. They advanced down one side and were pressured by defenders, but made a 4+ 4+ 3+ 2+ series of dodges with just a Dodge reroll to score before half time.

In the second half, the Harlequins were in a simiarl situation on the sideline but this time, failed simpler dodges and the ball was caught by a Saurus (6). The Lizzies advanced downfield and handed the ball off to another Saurus who took the scoreline to 3-1.

On the final drive, the Lizzies got a Blitz! and managed to catch the ball, but only after their MA9 Sidestep Skink failed a dodge and killed himself (apoth failed).

The Harlequins tried but were unable to score and the Lizzies finished out the game trying to pick up and pass with their 5 SPP Saurus whilst picking up a late pair of BHs to skill up their Krox.

A very one sided match thanks to the dice. Particularly in the first half where my opponent had very horrid luck apart from his T8 score which I could have prevented by stalling 1 more turn.

Was not an enjoyable match for him and understandably so.”
