#14 Glove'ron – Smashed Knee (NI)
The sun was very bright in the first half making it hard to see down the field but once Lord Brutal put his shades on, he started to hit his mark. there was some very good dodging from the boys. One which reqired three dodges leading to a pass and in the end a 2nd TD. I must say that the lads of the Black Crowes were having problems passing and handy off the ball. Could have been the soap on the ball that effected the Lords to a lesser degree. The Crowes did get some revenge by serious injuring 3 of the Lords players (apoth saved one). All up it was a game that could have been a different story if the Crowes had made one hand off.

The media ban after round 3 has done nothing to reign in the sheer idiocy that defines this cloven hooved band of misfits. Even the hiring of Nebakanezer the CW to bring some leadership onto the field has yeilded no results. As always these horn headed fools played with gusto only to allow the basics to go unheeded. A potential defensive sweep came unstuck when Morning Song fumbled a pass that would have seen the reciever clear. And everyone knows that Elves punish the smallest of ball handling errors. 1-0 The offensive drive was very similiar...Boomer set them back with an opening move double skull blitz (in which he DIED..thank Nuffle for modern medicine)...but a chance to score from a handoff in T8 was, of course, fumbled! Opening drive of 2nd half looked good until Morning Song (what was his deal today?!?) raced up the sideline and got caught. Taller snagged an intercept to keep the hopes alive and raced wide. But a bit of elf magic saw them steal the ball on a tight blitz and complete the long pass to go clear. Lions went against his form and actually blitzed succesfully but 2 more fumbles let the Elves steal the 2nd TD and all the points. Hats off to the Lords who hung tough even as guys were breaking (our only consolation). Round 5 is where the season begins for us again ;-)
