“Very fun game against a great coach.

First half was a flurry of fails for both teams, with a snaked pass allowing Poems to get the ball, and a snaked GFI stopped them :) Some bashing back and forth and the elves using their wiz allowed the elves to score 1-0. Poems had three turns to equalise.

Some more failing put tacklezones on all players that Poems had in range of the EZ, but Poems managed 2d knockdown-KO on the blode/ss/DT blitzer, followed by 3+2+2+3+2+2+2+ to score. Luck, you say? Admin Client says I :)

Second half Poems slowly ground their way forward, fouling left and right and doing as much damage as possible. The ref spotted Atei's first foul, and ignored the first four of Poems. This coupled with a bunch of KOs allowed Poems to score in T8 for a 2-1 victory.

GG played well, and first half was close indeed. second half Atei simply lost too many players to effectively stop Poems. If it had gone to OT and the elves received it could well have gone different.
