“After effectively losing the season in their last game, the Dragons came into this match just hoping to make it through uninjured. There was no real chance they could do anything here but put up some token resistance. Some poor ballhandling by the Gauntlets early on allowed the elves to exert pressure but the lino Private Sieber put an end to that with an interception while in 3 tz's. The humans proceeded to march down the field and score. After receiving the kickoff the Dragons were unable to get anyone down the field so they dropped back a bit to safety. The Gauntlets took the opportunity to knock down and foul the st4 catcher, only succeeding in KOing him though. A series of turn ending failed dodges from the elves ends the half with Goliad up 1-0.

Second half starts with the elves receiving and they manage to get two catchers downfield. The Gauntlets knock down one of them and foul him, getting a BH but also getting a blitzer ejected. The Dragons have a decent chance to tie it up at this point, and attempt a throw to the NOS catcher downfield. Again, a lino in a tz gets an interception to end the threat. The humans move downfield quickly and get their second TD from another lino.

Down 2-0 and with only 4 elves on the field, the remainder of the game is just desperation. It ends up with a final of 4-0, and the Dragons limp into another match even worse off than they were. ”
