After eagerly accepting an offer from a well balanced woodie team, the underperforming orcs continue to show exactly why they are now in a negative win/loss position.

Tight, tactical game against the woodies started badly with a blitz against which left the orcs' star blitzer stunned. In my turn, failed to pick up the ball with the thrower, which left the woodies free to pick up and run through for the easiest score of their lives.

Much better start second time around sees the orcs' gobbo king (he's practically an honourary orc now) take a dumpoff from Snagglfro' and push a woodie catcher out of the way to follow up into the TD zone.

The woodies take a quick score in the second half. The orcs, hoping to stall long enough to take a last-minute tie, get the ball knocked loose on a fifth turn blitz that sends the ballcarrier into the crowd.

The ball comes flying back in and ends up in the orcs' hands again on a bouncecatch. However, a failed rerolled handoff meant that the ball was away from the str4 blitzer and open for a 2-d shot right in front of four of the woodies' players.

They take their chance, and the orcs' desperate attempts to cover back, despite knocking the ball free, make no difference.

Another disappointing loss for a team that continues its track record of shocking starts. Was chasing the game from the out, despite receiving the kick and 1KO by turn 12 certainly wasn't enough to keep the woodies down. Indeed, the woodies' resilient armour meant they were able to inflict more damage than the orcs for most of the match.
