Crazy cas dice goven the lack of fouling, with apos gone in the first 2 turns.

The comedians started poorly with the greatest handicap losing one player and the str4 kicker niggling out so they started the game with only 11.

In the early round of blocks the comedians got the upper hand in the numbers game though and Zakatans high elves ran in an early score, with no rr judging the distance wrong but making their GFI anyway :P

With plenty of time to reply the comedians felt confident, particuarl;y with the blazing heat reducing zakatans numbers.
They worked the field and in the end put in an easy stall, removing the other STR4 elf along the way with a lucky block.
Putting the score in at turn 8 it was 1-1 at half time.

2nd half drive and the comedians were starting short of men, and the numbers got worse as both sides exchanged cas, including Eddie Izzard getting niggled :(
They very nearly got themselves sidelined though after a nasty turnover on blocks, and only equally bad block dice stopped their star blitzer meeting the crowd, however the ball carrier did go down.

Clearing the ball of tacklzones, though Lloyd Bridges, retreived the ball though and ran in a score to make it 2-1 with 4 turns to play.

Overtime now looked likely as both sides got back on the field with 8 players each as the elf brutality had taken its toll on both teams.
The comedians deployed their secret weapon, ag5 dodging stripballer Paul Whitehouse of 'fastshow' fame. He proceeded to make a mokery of Zakatans elves attempt to keep the ball, and after mad scrambling it was the comedians who emerged with the ball and Paul jogged through tacklezones as if they were not there and throw a pass to a free lino, who ran the ball out of range.
Choosing not to score in the following turn the lino left himself in range of onnly one player, who could not both blitz and thro in the same turn :P and the gam was over...... or was it?
In a bitter display of spite Andy Parsons the awesome ag5 catcher was battered off the pitch by a mighty blow, with the coach saying it could be a career ender :(

Well we have made it to the final but are pretty mauled, lets she what shape the opposition are going to be in and hope its not a full strength Jock team..... cos he wont be kind to me!
