“Two similar teams face off; rookies except for a +MA skillup on either side. They have one journeyman and neither team has subs or an apo so any cas could make all the difference.

We kick first and a max-scatter kick gives them a touchback, letting a chaos warrior start with the ball. They cage up in the center of the pitch and try and maximise their 2d hits on av7 linerats while keeping us away from the ball. By T3 they've scored a BH but haven't moved the ball forwards, though they are burning up their rerolls nicely with a lack of block. T6 and they finally try and make a push through with the ball on one side and we reposition a large part of the squad to stop them; still, they blitz a beastman and with two GFIs get him to the endzone... then dodge their CW to make the pass... but he double 1s on a GFI! We steal the ball... but fumble a pass to get it downfield. They decide against trying for the score on T8, settling on getting players around the ball instead. We make a couple key dodges with our final reroll, getting a 2d blitz to knock down one beastman, leaving only one other by the ball... and then it's gutter runner time!! Our +MA one makes a 3+ dodge, 3+ pickup and then a 4+ pass downfield to our waiting receiver who runs in the touchdown!! The (rat) fans go wild!

They kick off the 2nd half with a blitz, though fortunately they are defending quite deep so can't take massive advantage, apart from totally wrecking our T1 blocks and scoring a KO. Still, we run two GRs into their half, score two KOs and secure the ball at the back on our first turn. T2 and we go for a 3+ handoff that would mean an almost certain TD.. but drop it even with a RR! They then manage to steal the ball and -MA injure a linerat, but double skulls at the end of the turn gives up a nice opening and we 2d blitz the ball free before unleashing the GRs once again to steal! We could score by T3 but opt to wait a turn in safety before making it 2-0.

We kick off with 9 vs 10 and 5 turns left for the chaos squad... no wait: 4 turns after that riot! They BH a linerat and -MA smash a SV, but then fumble the pickup... our GRs need no further invitation, sweeping through their lines for the steal. They 3d blitz for a POW but with time running out give up on the win and try and cause some more damage. And indeed, they score another BH on a linerat and then on T14 score a KILL on our +MA GR... both-downs both times... bah! We try for a revenge foul on the beastman unassisted with a GR (fail), and they crowd around a different one on T16 but also fail to hurt him with a foul.
