Only a pow would make him cough it up. Next he was carefully caged and escorted down the field using up all 8 turns before scoring. With only one turn remaining I felt sure I would lead at the half 1-0. However, a riot unsued and the Elves were given an extra turn. They scored with ease and tied the game at one. They took the second half kick and scored again in two turns. Now it appeared the best we could hope for was a repeat of our earlier drive and a tie. But the Elves were able to knock the ball loose, GTO picked it up and ran for his life. He scored, but, three turns remained. Surely the Elves would score again. But wait, the Pontiacs were given a blitz. Everyone except the zombies charged into the Elf backfield. Laeranu was hit, but refused to go down. The ball rested in several tackle zones. For the next two turns a mad scramble for the ball took place, but neither team was able to hold it for long. Until, on turn 8, after some good blocks, the ball was on the ground and free of tackle zones. Grand Am SE could pick it up but did not have enough movement left to score. So, he scrambled into the clear and threw a pass to Catalina, who had made his way into the endzone. The pass was caught. Grand Am SE got his first skill, block, and the Pontiacs won the game 3-2. But Laeranu was named MVP and became a LEGEND with a total of 179 SPP! Congratulations to Laeranu! It was a very exciting game and I was lucky to get the win.
