“The first match of the second round kicked off with the gobbos receiving in the pouring rain. They made a solid start scattering the bones of one unfortunate skelly all over the pitch, but their trolls were to fail 6 out the next 8 really stupid tests and the Skullz added 2 serious injuries of their own to the casualty count. With their big guns catching flies on the line the gobbo with the ball made a break for the end zone, only to realise no-one went with him! With the ball carrier exposed, the Skullz coach's desire to get 3 dice on him meant a turnover before the sack and the Gits slipped in the first TD of the match. The Skullz saw out the end of the half just standing round the ball in a group too scared to try and pick it up.

As the second half got under way, they was a break in the clouds as the weather gods heard the Skullz coach's prayers and the weather changed from pouring rain to pouring rain! Fecking weather gods! You can tell this is an Irish League! Hack Enslash had another stinker, falling to break the armour of the only goblin he attacked before a kick back followed by a goblin boot ended his day. With all the worry about the rain, the newly acquired Thro-Ra, Robbz, picked up the ball first time and it didn't leave his hands until he scored in the 8th turn. He had a lot of weaving to do as well as 2 GFIs in the last turn as the gobbos made him work for it.
