“Two hour snoozefest where my opponent takes 3-4 min turns even while dominating the game during the second half. No fun to be had in this one sided drawn out nightmare that lasted for almost 2 hours due to my opponents long turns.
When I am crushing my opponent due to much better dice i like to just play the game and let my opponent get on with it. Not everyone shares this opinion i guess.”
“Hmm.. well I can understand someone getting impatient when their turns are cut short by bad dice, but let's do some math.
2 hours - 120 minutes
16 turns * 4 minutes per turn = 64 minutes.
So if *I* took so long, how come the game wasn't 90 minutes or something... and my T16 stalled score took 3 seconds :D
And YOU took the first four minute turn of the game (watch the replay). Call the kettle black much, Potbeard...?
I wasn't crushing you... you were hanging in there tight. Elves always have a chance. But you chose to focus only on how long I was taking to think things out (as I blatantly tried to take advantage of some bad dice you had) and you chose to look past the POW's and dodges you DID make, only to see your glass as half empty and proceed to dump the rest on your lap.
When I am getting bad dice and my turns are ended prematurely I prefer to not ask my opponent to speed it up because I see that as petty, babyish and rude. Not everyone shares this opinion, I guess...”
