“The pro wrestlers have lost their first game of the season seing them slip into 2nd place.

The match was a trciky one from the start, after suffering a turn over with the first blitz of the turn the Elves lost yards and the Chaos Dwarves marched the ball in for an easy score. There were three turns left that half to pull one back but a string of failed passes and hand offs made it impossible to score, had the final attempt at a hand of succeeded then the elves would have went in 1-1 at half time and been confident of the win, but it wasnt to be.

So the second half was underway and the elves went for the win, scoring a quick two turn touchdown. Then hoped they would be able to get the ball back for the winner. With 8 men vs 11 this was never goign to be easy.

The Chaos Dwarves gave the elves three attempts at a 1 dice block on the ball carrier but each time the first roll was a skull followed by a push back. The fourth time of asking was succeful but rather than the ball spilling to an emtpy square is scattered straight into the hands of the opponent's Bull Centaur giving the elves no chance of getting the ball back.

On another day things could have been very different, but elf coach felt he got his tactics wrong on the day which ulitmately saw them lose. The title race is still on for the Elf team in the group of death, but the Chaos Dwarves are looking the most likely team to scoop the prize at the moment.

Next up are the Amazons who are playing on the back of a game vs Dwarves, the pro wrestlers are hoping the zons are in no fit state to play after that encounter, but anything can happen in bloodbowl.”
