“Forlorn Quali won the coin toss and chose to receive. They wanted to send a message early and put fear into the eyes of the Dark Elves. The Dreadknights were not intimidated and struck back while putting pressure on the highly agile Throw-Ra ballcarrier, Hands, in the backfield. Lazarus broke open a hole and managed to get next to Hands. An early turnover by a Tomb Guardian, left their ballcarrier next to the "Disciple of Khaine." Lazarus knocked Hands to the ground and the ball bounced right into his the Blitzer's arms. He was taken down by a Blitz-Ra and Hands was able to recover the ball. In desperation he threw a long bomb to a Tomb Guardian in Dark Elf territory. Expectedly, the Guardian dropped the ball and Draeke was there to steal it.

Draeke threw a quick pass to Talion and it was caught. A Skeleton rushed the Runner but Talion threw the ball back to Draeke in a game of monkey in the middle. The Blitzer would then hand the ball off to Judas and the "Betrayer of Hope" ended all FQ's hopes of scoring in the first half as he ran in the touchdown.

DK received in the second half and they looked to give the Khemri forces a taste of their own medicine. They bashed through the left side of the field advancing their ballcarrier that way. Talion handed the ball to Emeyin and he ran it up covered by his teammates. The Witch King served notice to the Khemri players killing the deadly Blitz-Ra, Power, by ripping its spine out. Coach Cursed One was upset stating, "Perfect, no major (tournament) for this team this year." Draeke was attacked by the Tomb Guardian, High CR IV, but the Black Dragon was too good and killed the Guardian instead. Two Khemri deaths late in the second half would put the exclamation point in DK's victory.
