OLC Grudge Match

The Saikyo vs KatanaDash rivaly began way back in the 145 Club. These two coaches just couldn't get along. Trash talking carried on even as Saikyo graduated from the 145 Club and moved on. KatanaDash was still kicking it in the minors and his undead goons actually managed to win the 145 Rookie League in a particularly weak season. It was this that gave him the sense of confidence to challenge the notorious 145 Killaz of Thug Life.

Set up in the OLC - the ultimate proving ground for the ultimate in combat - this game was so full of bad blood that even vampires passed it by.

This game was all about Thug Life. They overpowered the undead and hurled them around like rag dolls. The Worm Food boys ran out of smelling salts because there were so many KOs. Those KO'd dead guys just didn't want to come back to face another beating.

Outnumbering the opposition 2:1 in the second half, the Thugs strolled home a second TD - despite some dreadful ball handling by Snoop Dogg - and hammered the final nail in KatanaDash's coffin.

There's talk of a rematch. A best of three series. Interviewed after the game, Coach Saikyo said this:

"Tell Katandash and those worm eaten sons of bitches to come back when they've got a team worthy of our time."

You heard it here first, Blood Bowl fans.

"Boys, you've let me down today. You've let the fans down. And above all, you've let yourself down. I want you to all go back to your graves and think about what happened on that field today. I want you to think about the pushback blocks and the double skulls. I want you to think about your inability to break Orc armour. I want you to think about failed dodges with re-rolls. I want you to think about spending all those kick offs lying unconcious in the KO box. And I want you to think how you can make sure this never happens again."

"But boss, what about the time you tried to pick up the ball with Serket because you forgot he had 2 AG?"

"Shut up. Back in the coffin."

[[Things could have been *slightly* different if the Ghoul hadn't failed a GFI for a last turn equaliser in the first half.... but yeah, this was a kicking. We'll be back.]]
