“The game started quite tense, with plenty of blocks and interesting pitch movement. I used a 1die to land my marker on his statmonster BC. Having failed to notice the DT, Cedric prioritized other blocks, then dodged away with the ball, leading to the catcher RIP (apo BH). After a skink escaped with the ball, I managed a handoff to score with Solid II.
This left the humans with 3 turns to score, so they made a very onesided offense plan.... and then suffered a blitz! A failed skink catch led to a lucky saurus catch, and despite being exposed cedric first failed a dodge (rr), then rolled double push. While he could crowd the balling saurus, I could chainpush him free, letting me advance safely. My fouling his PO guy on turn 7 allowed him to make a -2die blitz, popping the ball. Knowing I would be ahead and receiving second half, I chose to try a pickup and gfi with Solid II, which worked, leading to 2-0 and a skill for him.

Second half I made some more cas and KOs, allowing the mass of guard, tail, and diving tackle to dominate the remaining humans. Despite (or rather, because of) trying to handoff to or pickup with the Krox from turn 11 onwards, the second half did not result in another touchdown.

Coach Cedric19 took it very well, despite hardly being able to play for 2/3 of the game, and proved a fun opponent.”
