#1 Vorrestus Gumps – Damaged Back (NI)
Da Squigling Shop of Horrorz had thrown down the guantlet and challenged the Plagueship. The only stipulation would be that Da Horrorz would be the home team.

Coach accepted the challenge (and bag of swag provided by the goblin king) and took his team high up into the mountains.

When the Plagueship arrive, the ground was covered in snow. "Hmmmm have to watch our feet today, thought the coach."

The match kicks off and the Plague receive. Despite knocking over hardly any of the greenskins, the dark elves score a three turn touchdown.

Suddenly, the weather changes, and the sun is shining brightly straight into the eyes of the Plague.

"A weather shaman," mutters the grizzled coach Tremendous, before shouting out to his team, "No passing plays boys."

The Horrorz proceed to fail a pick up and then a dodge in successive turns, allowing a fairly simple touchdown to be scored by the Plague.

As the current weather had not had the desired affect, the goblin's shaman does his dance and the weather changes again, into sweltering heat.

Another goblin fumble, and the plague sense an opportunity to grab the ball, but with double skulls rolled in successive turns, the chance disappears and they have to settle for preventing the goblins from scoring.

As the second half begins, the changes in weather finally begin to tell as five of the 11 remaining members of the team are unable to take the field due to suffering from weather fatigue.

The six elves on the field, vastly outnumbered, both on the pitch and in the stadium are soon further reduced in number as new Runner Vorrestus picks up a niggle. But hope springs eternal as the goblins fail yet another pick up. The plague wrap around to one flank, in comes Dree to put a tacklezone on the ball, 'bang!', snakes the dodge.

The gobbos now have a chance to easily outflank the Plague and score, they roll down the opposite flank. The troll sees Mytrek, he wants to hit him, charges in, and fails the three die block, wasting a reroll on the way.

The elves, grab the ball, but can't get it away and another failed dodge, allows the Horrorz to satisfy their cheering fans with a touchdown of their own.

The shaman once again does his dance, and the weather changes again, this time to perfect BB weather. Two turns to score, and this is something the Plague have perfected, but a failed pick up and then a failed hand-off prevents any further scoring and the Plague settle for a 2-1 victory.
____________________________________________________________________

Both Vinshqueek and I had some fairly poor dice in this game. With his trolls twice failing three die blocks (once for a turnover and once for a failed knock down on the ball carrier), but nonetheless it was amusing as the elves offered up more amusing bonehead turn overs than the goblins!

Cheers for the game mate.
