Luck reading is out due to first half disconnect.
-------
A topsy turvy game. The Boyz were handicapped when two of their players were late for the game and a third niggled before the match started to leave them with only 10 players to take the pitch.

The Boyz chose to receive and soon found themselves on the end of the rampaging Griffonz who smashed them all over the park, knocking out 3 players and stunning many more during the early stages of the first half.

The Griffonz broke out on the left side with the ball and looked to be in a strong position to score. However, the Boyz had hired a wizard before the match and his fireball took out both of the Catchers, knocking one down and seriously injuring the ball carrier!

The Boyz were able to recover the ball only to lose it again. The ball sailed out of bounds and players from both teams converged on it.

Suddenly, the Griffonz had a run of bad luck, with players throwing ugly blocks (one guy rolled a skull and badly hurt himself). The Boyz were able to break out and looked to be in a powerful position to score themselves.

However, the Griffonz were able to knock the ball free and stop a score when the Boyz had a player trip over a blade of grass (snake eyes on GFI with reroll to set up blitz) and the game was tied at 0-0 at half time.

In the second half, both teams could only line up with 10 players as the Boyz still had 2 players in the KO bin, and the Griffonz had 3 players injured and one KOed.

The Griffonz were soon reduced to 9 players, and then 8, and then 7 as players were either injured or KOd.

The Boyz pushed hard with their cage and got a commanding position just after half way into the second period and ran down the clock to score a 1-0 win.
-----------
That was a very difficult game until the second half where I got the lucky block results. I was under immense pressure in the first half and was very very fortunate to stop a score, but then a bit unlucky to not score myself after getting such a strong position with my players.

Second half the rolls just started to go my way with the blocks and there was not much my opponent could do. With the game safely won, I stalled 2-3 turns and didn't hit his players, instead setting up a TD with a Black Orc Blocker who was on 26 SPP.

It was quite a fun match with ridiculous luck both bad and good for both of us, and I look forward to a rematch.
