“Definitely a fun game. Went with 2 mercs (dp lineman, tackle blitzer) plus skitter - and since we suffered 2 CAS in first 2 turns, it was nice to have the bench. Overall, a fun game - all 3 fouls were highly tactical to stun a player that could be of importance in the next turn. We somewhat wimped out - not going for the 3+ dodge with no RR that could have iced the game - and we paid for it as the wood elves pulled off some late game magic for the draw.

“A great match to end the WIBBL season, in which the game was all high octane offence and a mad desperate scramble in the final two turns which it could have ended 4-2 to the Bilge Rats but ended 3-3 with the Wanderers making a RR'less 2+ pickup.

Loved the use of mercs as inducements too as it proved much more decisive than the *yawn* wizard. Sure, the Tackle Blitzer died in the 2nd turn, but it saved still served to extend Azure's bench.

Skitter was MVP tho... he's great value.
