#17 Fredrick Clearorc – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#19 Leroy Deephawk – Fractured Skull (-AV)
Another green invasion, this one from a land called Distrikt of Clubbinya! The Waaaagh! of Bob's Family laid an early beatdown on the Warriors seeking Valhalla, and 2 villagers were dispatched early (poor Fred Clearorc was hit by a rock from the fans before play started). We had a chance to stop the first TD when a goblin missile crashed to the ground with the ball. But Weath was hitting all the wrong notes tonight and failed the Sure Handed pick up. A bad kick did allow Herger to even the score up at the end of the half. The last villager was taken out early in the 2nd half but another bad kick netted Herger the ball again. The ill-fated Thirteen thought they had protected Herger well, but the Orcs went on a rampage and could fail no rolls! Herger handed off to Weath and he took off (though using a precious reroll in the process). The rest of the game, Weath would attract nothing but POWs, losing the ball only to regain it and lose it again. Herger got lucky, taking down an Orc Blitzer who was carrying the ball when the green frenzy machine decided to blitz out of trouble instead of dodging out. Herger nearly fumbled the pass but managed to sail it over the heads of everyone and in easy reach of Weath. See previous comment about Weath and POWs. He did end the game holding the ball, but time expired before he could reach the endzone.

For once, all Warriors who started this game finished it and will be able to play again. No skill ups, and not enough money to get new players though. There is now considerable grumbling amongst the men about needing the lucky 13th warrior who is not a northman.

[Gerth was a fun opponent and we had a great chat which made this game enjoyable for me. The dice made it incredibly frustrating and I was extremely lucky to come away with the draw. Oh, and the client crapped on me again - this time it used a reroll when I did NOT want to use one: i.e. I clicked No reroll but it used it anyway. The last time this happened, it did NOT use a reroll when I selected YES to use one. But at least we still got that win that time. Grrrrrr!]
