“A bruising game for the Journeymen with Billy Hardfield saving the first drive after a fumbled pass from Coldtree and a messy scrum in midfield. Coach The_Demon set a fire under the dwarves at half time and they came into the second half swinging hard, preferring to smack the Journeymen over picking up the ball. Whilst Goldfist and Clearbone were carried off the pitch a small hole appeared in the Spiked Impalers line and Billy Hardfield slipped through to steal the ball and pass cross field to Clearhawk.

Impaler MVP Turne "The Speed" Bladerunner sacked Clearhawk and the pressure built. The chaos continued as the ball was recovered however a fumbled pass from Whiterock was followed by a fumble on the recovery pickup and the ball spilled into the crowd. The throw in saw the ball on the Impaler's line. Despite Hardfield marking Bladerunner, the dwarven blockers cleared the way as their runner looked certain to travel the length of the field to score the equaliser. The Journeymen were down to four men in the dying minutes, but only one mattered. Vilestream brought down the house with a final tackle, denying Bladerunner and winning the game.
