*** Cult of Moon - Landing of the Dead ***

As they once again climbed to their secure lands, the clansmen were pleased with how fit and able their team looked, emerging unscathed from what was quite a brutal encounter.

They'd been awoken early in the morning by the cliff spotters reporting a landing near The Crescent. They seemed to be led by a lizard not disimilar to the Swallowers who dwelt below, and immediately the trumpets were sounded and the defences sent down in force. The team was not what they expected. An aberration of nature, what faced them was a shambling mess of dead bodies animated by ungodly magicks. They didn't need to ask if the force was friend or foe. Nothing so abhorant could be anything but an enemy.

Mandara took the lead on the field as they struggled to compensate for the loss of their captain. He shone through, attacking the most opponents and handling the ball well.

It was always going to be a difficult game for the Cult of Perpetual Existence as their animated players lacked both the speed and agility of the elves, and this told throughout the match. The eventual 2-0 scoreline reflected well the gap between the teams despite the best efforts of their lizard coach.

When they returned to the cliffs, Rakesh took furst turn addressing the populace.

Rakesh: "We did well out there today. Several players performed impeccably and valuable skills were learned on the field"
Mandara: "But this is a small victory"
Rakesh: "For our spotters have reported that the Swallowers have returned"
Mandara: "Rest well tonight, but do not revel. Their is much preparation to be done"

#4 Nagath – Broken Jaw (MNG)
#10 Somar – Dead (RIP)
basically I just kept rolling double skulls and skull/both down's, very boring game in which I had no control at any point. My opponent did well passing and maneuvering. Clearly a skilled player I would have been out matched if I wasn't rolling skulls anyway.
