“A good game for the Hellmouths here. We were up against a newer side but the cheaters had been buying off the ref before the game.
Usually Big King likes to receive the ball at kick off but he left that to Hardest Nutz as he saw the Fanatic as a juicy target on the LOS. As the gobbos either side of it were pushed aside (and one badly hurt by Devil) Big King bit the fanatic in the face and would have killed him if not for the apo's quick intervention. A great start though after picking up the ball Hardest Nutz got lusty and ko'd a herder. Surprisingly a Pogo rider then sprinted and tried a tricky dodge but fell on his face. After that we were in control of the half, moving up the flank and past the Night Gobbos. Monkey and stik it up'em did get surrounded for some moments though and the fouls came flying in. The ref was bought so they got away with kicking Monkey hard so he was badly hurt. After a pogo got in range we finished off the score. Time left was short in the half but a saw player stunned Big King and another then ko'd him on the ground. The 2nd fanatic then whirled around and badly hurt two herders before himself being ko'd. Devil badly hurt another gobbo but was then sawed down and another fouler did harsh work by ko'ing him. At half time we were 1-0 up but both Big King and Devil did not return so there were still doubts.
Bombers were now on the pitch but when the 2nd fumbled a bomb Hardest Nutz was able to run forward and steal the ball. Alas he was unprotected and then surrounded. Pogo blitzed him down and caught the ball. Things looked difficult then but Hellmouth saved us by leaping in and pushing back Pogo. The pogo rider then couldn't get past the squig and herder and tumbled down with the ball being thrown by the crowd to our endzone. After a herder fumbled it then the ball was thrown forward again by the crowd but eventually Hardedt Nutz got it, survived an attack and passed the ball to the awaiting Tuknutz to score. ”
