“Warpstone Open IX Qualifier V Round 2

Walpurgis manage to walk away with an easy victory vs. the bookmakers' favoured team in this qualifier. We chose to receive and were able to steal the ball using wizard and AG6. After a weak stall and a snaked dodge our plans seemed to unravel, but the Orcs failed two crucial pick-ups and AG6 magic gave us the 1-0 lead for half time. The Tee Gang had put their silk gloves on and thus were facing 11 Elves with the ball for second half. They managed to put us under pressure until double skulls gave us an opening, we took a risk and marked the 2-0. By that time the game was decided but we managed to snatch another lose ball for 3-0 and, after a quick break by the Orcs, were able to protect the ball and run down the clock without much trouble despite Orcs getting Blitz!.
