“Neither team did well in the early going. Filthy Goods had problems picking the ball up, then problems securing it, and it bounced around for a while. Both sides failed pickups, and no real damage was being done. The Pestilence finally collected the ball on a turn when they also stunned a ghoul and a wight, and a failed zombie dodge got the ball to safety for a turn 8 score.

The Pestilence were outnumbered in the second half, but made their move after a couple turns, passing forward and getting a pestigor clear with the ball. He made GFIs the next turn for 2-0. Filthy Goods tried moving in fast, but their ball-carrier ended up in the open and was taken down hard. The ball bounced into the Pestilence's end zone, though, and a failed pickup from the Nurgles let the corpses score for 2-1. There were only two turns left, though, and a failed block ended Filthy Goods' turn 7 with nobody in scoring range.
