Well, THIS was game that didn't go as I expected it to!

The first turn, facing 3 Goblins on the LOS, we were able to KO one, and knock down another, but lost our positioning in the process. The Goblins first turn, they remove TEN strength worth of players from the pitch–– knocking out Greyson with a bomb (who stayed asleep for the rest of the game, through a sweltering 6 KO rolls) and badly hurting Cranston with a foul. This left us with a scant 4 saurus and 4 skinks, and a pool of sweat on the pitch. We decided to score quickly and risk a counter-score, so as to rid the pitch of a Blodge Looney and the Bomber, and just barely made it in.

At that point, though, everything went to hell for the Goblins, and their offense never came to a head. The Fanatic lasted one turn, the Pogoer couldn't pick up the ball, and they couldn't manage to knock over a single player. Saurus were catching the ball all over the place (even the Trolls did a bit of that, much to the chagrin of their small comrades), and Goblin armor was woefully inadequate. The Popanzen's terrible dice carried on to their KO rolls, and could only field 5 players for each of the remaining drives of the match.

In the end, a rotten dicing. Wolfgang Hanson II picks up 11 SPP in his debut game, thanks to the fans and some nimble ball-handling, and becomes out next Dodging-Saurus-Liability.

Cheers to Rumanski–– He played an excellent game. Nuffle just couldn't cut the man a break.
