Then elves be elves and make a mockery of tackle zones to strip the ball from Landlady's grasp. It's OK, she can just pick it up again, right? Wrong! The snaked pick up is followed by a punt.

Just as it looks lost, finally a dark elf slips as the witch falls. Landlady has the ball and all that is required is a pass, a catch, and a hand off. The catch is dropped and the team comes up short in a competitive 2nd half - the Soulrippers getting a measure of revenge for their coach after our previous XFL encounter.”
