#5 Perforce – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
Another very fun and close match against T3mpano.
The elves won the toss and opted to kick. The orcs fielded the ball and started opening heads immediately. With the help of the AG6 star seriously cas'ing himself there were four elves off the pitch in two turns.
The orcs gradually moved up the pitch, surfing the odd elf as they went but the blood had stopped flowing and the crowd were in a sociable mood.
So sociable, in fact, that after some late heroics from the St4 wardancer they tossed the stripped ball straight down the throat of a woodie who needed only a simple pass to create a defensive touchdown.

The elves were receiving in the second half, but were a little short-handed. The +MA catcher was quickly in range to score but his team-mate fumbled the ball. After a bit of a scramble and more heroics from Jack the orcs recovered the ball and quickly scored, leaving the elves three turns for the winner.

Not to be though as the menacing war-dancer snaked his leap, leaving the ball exposed with enough time for the orcs to score a second defensive touchdown with only one elf and a tree left on the pitch to hear the final whistle.

Three defensive touchdowns in one game! Madness! And all done with great spirit and humour. A friendly rivalry seems to be developing!
Let's doing it again soon T3mpano....
