Then after a faerie got the ball to a Leprechaun the Fenbeast in front of him went dumb and he was unprotected. 1-0 down by half time as the skinks comfortably stole and passed us. Old Barkteeth did hurt the beastly raptor but otherwise it was looking grim.
Second half we approached their cage but the dodges kept failing when Leps went for blitzes and when a brownie decided to break the cage there was a clash of heads, he died and the ball scattered to another skink! The skinks then decided to hold off for a 1-0 win. Tough game, not a great contest. We needed to take advantage of them not having reserves but neither the Fen power or Fae gazing malarkey came off today.”
