“An exciting 3-0 win for the Champions here but there were heavy Sauri losses with Tlaxconqua dead and Amazonia retired.
The bloodshed started earlier after we picked up a short kick when Lumpy the goblin fouled Velocidad out of this match and the next, and was sent off. he Champions then started to flex our muscles takin out players including 2 casualties and a KO of their blitzer. There were repeated Sauri fumblings but Outeiro the skink got the ball over the line. But not before the troll ko'd Diablo.
In the final moments of the half the Apo was needed to recover Amazonia from a hard blow by the Rat broken face. With Diablo still out at the start of the 2nd half things didn't look straightforward at 9 v 10. Punch the Blitzer had returned for Blood and Warpstone and delivered a brutal clawing on Talxconqua which left him dead! The Troll though fell when hitting out and that left Rio Grande a hit on the rat ball carrier. But the Saurus incredibly was brought down by the skaven thrower. It tried to pass through our line but failed it and Outeiro got the ball away. Still not out of trouble though as Punchy ko'd him. But Rio Grande surfed the blitzer and Loco dashed off with the ball. He switched corners before scoring the 2nd. But not before Grindy the Troll smashed Amazonia's hip!
In the final drive it was 7 v 7 and a TTM landing fail gave Loco the chance to get the ball to Superiore who surprisingly caught it and loped off for the 3rd TD. Fun match and a bloody victory for the Champions.
