“Diane, it's 2:55 PM on Wednesday, January 28th, and there was a problem down at the morgue. It seems a bunch of the town elders were upset with Albert's methods and wanted to have a word with me. So I went to check it out, and they came out swinging. The knocked the log lady down and Carlo kicked her repeatedly for the 1st half, breaking armor for several turns. It was looking bleak for a bit, but Sheriff Truman and I kept our heads and were eventually able to settle everyone down. Then we listened to their grievances, which had something to do with us always taking their ball and running away with it. They managed to thwart us once with an unorthodox hail-mary pass that we couldn't recover, and just like that our perfect defense was ruined. Woodstock and shadow46x2 got particularly rowdy so I had to deal with them using standard Bureau procedure: I smashed bones. Christer hurt himself trying to shadow me on a pass play, and Deputy Hawk hurt himself tripping into the endzone on the very same play. Fortunately Albert was able to patch up a potential Smashed Ankle.

Medical Report: Deputy Hawk snaked a gfi into the endzone and nearly smashed his ankle. Albert patched him up. Sure Feet is just as deadly as Dodge apparently.

Financial Report: The inducements brought by Agiler Bones were annoying, but of mixed effect. Sinnedbad and Kicking Boots were good, the bribe was a dud (ref was unimpressed) and the Stolen Playbook led to Christer's early ouster when regen failed on a Badly Hurt. I guess he didn't realize all our plays are written backwards ;)”
