Again we are asked to face a great foe, bruisers they call themselves, not that Bruiser was amused. Still, they had an ulfwerner, Mundo, who appeared able to overpower any of our big boys, intimidating indeed. Again, that mad Bomber joined us, along with an apothecary and a single bloodwieser babe, it all certainly eases the concerns when you're offered such a deal.

We received, the lads a little surprised and slow on the uptake, no surprises. Bomber nailed his shots for once, Thug eating one on a return throw, but they weathered it well. We tried to cage up, but Mundo blitzed the ball free and they ran it in off a nice move to scatter the ball clear and pass it for the score.

We tried again, their runners dauntless in the face of our might, Mumbles trying to carry the ball, disaster as expected. But Wibble got the pickup, with the big lads clearing the way, Babbling took the handoff, and landed a top throw by Bully to make the end zone at the last moment. The ref (he'll be in the pot) gave them one last shot as us for a laugh, and they took Goon out for the match. Snotlings on the line it is then.

And they fouled the green ones! Hah, we'd gotten some good early kicks in and drawn them into it, two of theirs banned, none of ours. Their passing game came off again, Mundo hammering away, and they stalled, taunting us near our own line with a clever-footed blind man. So we hammered them back, Bully slapping some sense into anyone attacking him, killing Azir, and hounding their taunter.

Even Brute got into the fouling, the ref asking for more trouble by sending him off! We were left 3 on 5, more 3 on 4 with their really stupid snow troll less use than the worst bonehead run I've ever seen. Thug made a brave attempt and grabbed up their runner, but he was dauntless and pushed his way over the line.

The equaliser was not to be, despite more time for a riot, Bruiser simply couldn't pick up the ball, my throat already horse from screaming at them all day. An extra push here, hitting the valuable targets rather than the soft ones there, it might have even been ours. Not to be, well done the Norse.

For the first time in what seems forever, our whole team is intact and ready to fight. I wonder if there's a tournament we might enter? Apparently we're too fearsome for the minors, so who knows.
