#4 D'enthee – Damaged Back (NI)
#8 De-varr – Serious Concussion (-AV)
#12 She-est – Groin Strain (MNG)
#16 Sqee-kee – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
Dark Elves, how hard can they be, I mean they are Elves after all.

Highlights:
U-dogs receive and set up for a LineRunner play against a narrow Pickers’ defence. However a fumble in the back field leaves them seriously exposed and allows the Pickers to challenge for the ball deep in the U-dog’s half. The U-dogs scramble a defence some how forming a pocket around ball carrier Sqee-kee. Out of good options and under pressure Sqee-kee launches a pass down field that fails to connect with its target. This leaves a loose ball on the halfway line to be grabbed by AG5 Dark Elf Blitzer Francis who offloads to Freya - the Picker’s Witch Elf - who runs in to score an easy TD.

On restart the U-dogs once again set up for a LineRunner play but the kick goes too deep and they revert to a Pocket and Skirmish Line instead. In a rare show of near professionalism the U-dogs successfully move into correct positions to protect the ball carrier. With the Skirmish Line collapsing the Skaven form a Cage around Cee’gra and release the goblins to dodge through the Elven lines into catching positions. Two catchers make it though and into scoring positions, Cee’gra throws but once again the pass fails to find its target and the ball is loose inside the Pickers’ half. In a near carbon copy of their first TD Pickers’ Francis picks up and passes, this time to fellow Blitzer ‘Ruben’ who is able to run in for an unopposed TD – 2-0 Pickers.

Showing true loyalty to the playbook, or a lack of originality, the U-dogs set up for a LineRunner play once again. This time the ball lands favourably and Gerald even manages to launce a gobbo to roughly where it is meant to be. Unfortunately Per-yats, after picking up the ball forgets to hand it off to Ber’anx and the play grinds to a sudden halt with the ball stuck in the U-dogs half and time rapidly running out on the clock. The only hope is for a pass to the open catcher She-est, and for the third time in the match the pass goes awry. End of half and the score stands at 2-0 t o the Pickers.

Start of the second half and the U-dogs manage to slip two gobos through the Dark Elf defence to challenge for the ball but Francis simply laughs at their puny attempts to tackle him, skipping away to line up another TD scoring pass – which he fumbles. Sqee-kee picks up the ball and all he needs to do is throw a short pass to Dess-eyets for the score, but in a fit of racial hatred, or as a response to the terrible catching displayed in the first half Sqee-kee refuses to make the pass. Instead he is able to sprint in for a solo TD, the U-dog’s first in nearly 5 matches.

The Pickers’ response is emphatic, a clean, crisp and (nearly) flawless passing play, once again orchestrated by Francis for the final score of the game. 3-1 to the Pickers with a record equalling 9 casualties inflicted on the U-dogs including 4SIs, one of which proves career ending for gobbo De-varr.

All in all an improved performance from the U-dogs, they showed better positional awareness and used their set plays well – they also scored for the first time since their inaugural game! Go U-dogs!
