“Kondor crossed the pitch and thanked Coach Stanley for the match. Sure, Kondor had hoped that the Lizards would win but this one just got out of hand. In the second minute of the match Kondor pointed at Leonidas an then at Riner. With a smirk, Leonidas went after the pint sized star. Riner was no dummy. He hit the ground and the brute barely grazed him. From this position on the pitch he looked at the size of these opponents and wondered what his coach was thinking by taking this game.

Good sense took the place of valor and he squealed and grasped his suddenly "injured" shoulder in "pain." He would spend the remainder of the match in the infirmary being tended to by the nursing staff. Yeah, the nurses looked much better than any of those creatures on the field. Undoubtedly Coach Stanley would take this match out of his pay check but it was well worth it.

Before the final whistle, 11 of the test pilots would come to the same conclusion and "limp" off the field. Flings may love blood bowl, but they are no fools.
