“NCBB S22 FBC Conference Play Game 1 (5th game of season)

Inablity to GFI dooms the Techies to yet another loss.. a virtual repeat of their last contest, S21 game 5

1st half, I have the game under control and advancing slowly but surely to the EZ. Turn 6 or 7, I decide I can make it in, and gfi 2 times for the TD..only to 1rr1 the 2nd gfi and stun myself. Of course, the Elves get the ball, and throw it down field and run out of reach, scoring the next turn for a 1-0 halftime lead.

2nd half starts with a Pitch Invasion, and depsite having the +1 fame, KAMU has 2 players stunned as do the elves. this hurts the Dwarves of Karak much more than the Waterfoul of Oregon, and they eventually score to take the 2-0 lead. The Techies could not even get a consolation TD, as Junior goes down on a 1db (at least he had to use a RR, but NO player on any team coached by Xeterog that has block and dodge seems to want to stay standing when they have the ball..2db, 1db, -2db..doesn't seem to matter)

anyway, enough whining :)

Thompson completes 3 passes (2 of them garbage time ones), and the only positive is the team completes 3 more passes than the elves (though their 1 pass was the game changer). Oh, and Thompson picks up the skill every dwarf runner should have...safe throw....;)
