#7 Chani (ghola I) – Dead (RIP)

A big steaming pile of crap. 3 die pushes for Dune, 1 die POWs for the Theives that resulted in CAS including the RIP of Chani (ghola I). 8 fouls for us that got 1 BH and 1 KO, 1 foul for them that also got a BH. Nothing we did worked, nothing they tried failed. The most lopsided dice I think I've ever had in a tournament. Enjoy the 5-0 badge, cause I'm pretty sure you burned all your luck on this game. Good luck against the cdorfs. Hopefully they can finish off Sir Leapalot for me.
Followup: Schadenfreude. They didn't kill Sir Leapalot, but it looks like they did take him out early.”

Well, everything that could go our way went our way in this one. We managed to sack the ball carrier twice and our guys for the most part held-up to some 3BD hits and resisted being piled on. Our opponent ended up with ~5 banned players but luckily we suffered minimal damage.
It was rough to see Chani (ghola I) killed by a dauntless catcher sack. By that point, the game was probably out of reach anyways. We opened up the scoring in the first half, resulting in Snnedbad being sent off.
Our opponent was pushing for an equalizer with a wizard in his pocket when we managed to 2 BD pow the blodged ball-carrier. Our 6 ag thrower managed to dodge a few times, scoop, and long-bomb it to an open catcher (no RR). That, followed by a fizzled wizard on the next play and 2 BD (RRed) failing to knock our catcher down led to a 2-0 halftime lead from which we didn't look back.
