Open [L]eage Cup IV: final

Avengers from the Forest won the six-round tournament in this final against Slaughter House [9]. The custard pie was critical in a successful attempt to steal the ball in turn 5 of the first half, when our ST4 wardancer managed to bypass a corner of the cage. The ball still fell in between two dwarfs though, making it impossible to evacuate. Next turn it worked better, leading to the 1-0 lead at half-time. Meanwhile armor rolls had been kind, at some point we had even more elves than there were dwarfs on the pitch!

After receiving in the second half we scored a relatively easy touchdown when PainState seemed to be more occupied with the impact of a stupidity bomb dropped in his store than with the ongoing game. That bomb seemed to have contaminated the dwarfs on the pitch as well, who started desperate dodges to get a shot at the ball.

Nevertheless a nice win for the Avengers!

May the circumstances for our next game be more optimal!
