“A dose of reality for the Machine as they suffer their first loss at the hands of the rough and tumble chaos pact team. The Machine were able to get the ball loose on turn 2 thanks to the wizard and a TJ Oshie blitz. However, the humans failed three times to gather the ball and pass it to a wide open Holtby. King Nave finally gather the ball, but was unable to stall to turn 8 because he was pushed into the endzone by TJ Oshie. This allowed Holtby to score a two-turn TD, catching a long pass from Backstrom while double covered (5+!) to tie the game.
In the second half, the humans should have been able to score, but an improperly set up cage doomed them. While advancing down the right side, the humans set up a cage with one of the corners covered. The Disasters were able to blitz in and knock the ball loose, and when the humans could not recover it, they swooped in and marched to an easy score on the last play of the game.
Next up is the tough slann team as the humans try to stay atop their division.”
