“Here the Villains faced a Lizardmen side that included an extra strong Saurus. We received and stunned Saurii on the LOS. But with their one blitz Loke, the S5 Saurus, ko'd Mumm-ra. He didn't return for the whole match! A key blow.
We had a heck of a struggle scoring with players down and Kraklow, our carrier, also cas'd when we didn't fully shield him. The Mountain was downing opponents but not making them stay out. An agile skink got the ball but Knut, our ag4 Wight, cas'd him and picked up. But then fell in the endzone when he could score! Then with a skink fumble and some crowd throws back to the endzone we were given a reprieve. Faceless Hunter managed to get up and make the TD.
The Lizards scored just before half-time after a zombie was cas'd and they managed to make a gap in our line.
The 2nd half was a disaster. We couldn't cas and with some steady suffering there was a comfortable winner for the Reptilians. Knut's retirement with a smashed hip after suffering a heavy blitz hit added insult to injury. Yet again(!) the Villains have only rookie Wights. There was still some time for another drive for us but a fumble by Faceless Hunter scuppered the chance.
