We lost the coin toss and had to kick first. Our Witch’s Brew card failed, and they knocked our line back and set up around midfield. We fought a bit, until around turn 4,when we got a manpower advantage and they had to run wild with the ball. The carrier got away at first, but the Lions tried to stall without enough manpower and ended up losing the ball and carrier, and letting Fonoti run upfield and try a pass into one Disturbing Presence cloud for the W. Brown TD. The pass worked, and we got away on turn 8 up 1-0. In the second half, we stalled out at midfield for a bit, but then Fonoti ran the ball in for a TD at the end, for a 2-0 win. There was much scrimmaging in the meantime, of course.”
