We set up another ziggurat in the second half, they eventually opened a hole, but Bloodlust started biting and the Vamps took two men out on their own account over 2 turns. We pressured the ball pretty hard, but Terry ‘Avenger’ Clemson got through for a hurried 4-turn TD to tie the score at 1-1.

They set up a boat defense. We ran up the gut, until we started winning on the north side, so we took that route. They blitzed Fonoti with the help of a custard pie, got a push, saw Fonoti run past them, then recovered with a gnarly dodging blitz from Dillon. Fitzofstone got the ball, but Lundy knocked him down, Brown knocked Dillon off the ball, and Crick dodged free to pick up the ball and run in the last-minute TD for a thrilling 2-1 win.”
