“The Raiders were eager to pull down these Loud Chaos types. But it didn't work out like that. Headcrusher rushed forward to hit as soon as he could, but he was promptly blitzed down and cas'd. The apo having to save him from long term damage. Not only that but Throtz had fumbled the ball. With a long kick our setup was out of shape. Each time we tried to make a breakthrough it didn't work out and the Loud Steps broke through and took the ball. A Beastman got the TD to leave us a tough challenge.
But in our highlight of the match Zloos Tharlo got his first one turn TD just before half time! He even dodged through a Chaos Warrior's grasps on the way through.
Second half we were still under the cosh with little tools to break their cage. But late on we kept hassling them. This Chaos side's one weakness was running fast and tripping. Sure enough their ball carrier had to gfi to get round our press to score. And he fell! The ball went off the pitch and we protected it for 1-1.
Their Chaos Warrior, Poor, had an impressive day with 3 casualties including retiring Snutz Bolo. The Raiders just can't seem to develop new ballhawks. But we will return.”
