“NWFL Season 17 game 9

The Raiders have and up and down game, resulting in a loss. Can they win just one game in the next 5 to set a new Team Record for wins?? stay tuned.

1st half opens well, with 2 beastmen (including a Block/Guard) get hurt, but the Butte Kickers kicked some butte as well, and Zhar Naggarund could not stop them from getting the ball and scoring.

2nd half was a little more of the same, though the Raider HobGoblins bravely stood up to the Claw/MB guys, tying them up for most of the half. This gave the Raiders a chance, but it was not to be and Butte scored as time was running out. Then a miracle happend. Zhar Naggarund, frustrated almost all game got the jump on the Kickoff. Though the ball ended up in the EZ, Pasotrini Dan was able to get to it and complete a short pass. After a handoff to Campbell (2GFI's later), who had been pushed even further past the LOS, Campbell was able to score, avoiding the shutout (and the ball literally went from one ez to the other in one turn!!!)

Matthews learns guard and we are back up to 6 Blockers with Guard.
