In the first of last night's double feature, the Brave and Mighty Tranemo Terrors face off against the sneaky thieves of Randiga Rustningar. The teams have faced each other once before in last season's quarterfinals where the Terrors managed a 2-1 win. This game proved to be the opposite, as the Halfling Chef made things difficult for the Good Guys.
Perhaps it was the tantalizing smell of the food being cooked next to the pitch, perhaps it was the sneaky thieving elfs who outright stole re-rolls, we will never know. What we do know for sure, however, is that the elfs had stolen a page out of the Målsryd Weavers playbook and started off the game with a blitz! This turned an offensive drive into a scramble for the ball.
The deciding factor of the match, however, was when Daniel Decimerad failed to hold one of the sneaky thieving elfs' catchers, who could then manage a couple of dozen dodges, three scores of going for its, and a double-twist long bomb to a lineman who could run in the score at the death of the clock.
