As I kicked off to Sigmar in the rain, a one-sided pitch invasion flattened half my team (with all his players unscathed), leaving my Werewolves exposed. Before my first turn, both of my Tackle wolves had been de-pitched and I'd been forced to use my apo. With 3 kos and a cas taken in the first 2 turns, there wasn't really any hope of salvaging anything from the first half.

I had a decent shot at a 1-turn on turn 8 of the first; however, the rain didn't help and I failed to find the dice for the pass/catch. Score was 1-0 to Sig at the half.

After a squalid first half, I was hoping for some love from Nuffle in the second; however he had other ideas and kicked me squarely in the crotch immediately by giving Sig a Blitz on the second half kickoff. That, followed by a snaked gfi on my first turn, handed Sig an unchallenged second TD and pretty much sealed the game. I tried as best I could to find a consolation, but the game ended up 3-0 to the daemons.

Don't get me wrong, Sig's a great player and his team is highly dangerous, but he really doesn't need this much help from Nuffle ;)

Anyway, gl in the playoffs and I'll be rooting for you to take out Shogun this time :)”
