(The best they could do was to take out one of the rats with a well-thrown rock; even the Angry Men's fouling game was off tonight, doing little more than occasionally knocking out Ratu, the redoubtable Rat Ogre of the opposition.)

Still, despite losing 3-1, Angry Alan managed to score once and although Bertie Butterfingers was his usual incapable self, the #2 thrower, Brian Both-Hands, did a little better. Let's consider this a recovery match for the Men, with the hope of some more draws in the future.”
