“Tough game against the Undead. The poor vikings felt overpowered at nearly every turn; the dominant forces on the pitch were both mummies. Yeti was taken out early on, and the rest of the Norse never recovered.

A too early touchdown by the Norse followed by a riot in the bleachers left the Undead too much time to score in the first half; in the second, the Norse never even got close to the ball carrier, who just walked the ball into the end zone.

Jonna managed to get in a nice punch in the ghastly visage of a Wight Blitzer, which ceased to be undead and became just regular dead. She wiped the ectoplasm off on her polar bear pelt loincloth and spat twice over her left shoulder as the flimsy protective gear of the Wight tumbled uselessly to the pitch.

A fun game, quite violent, with some tough scrums and lots of blocks thrown.”
