Statement win in the divisional and conference final! If Patriots win, then win the division, and gets the bye week in the playoffs. Any other results, and the Classics have that. Plus the winner has chance to be the no1 overall seed in KFC.

Patriots went into playoff mode as far as the tactic and personnel is concerned, and Patton was the most important piece. He was responsible for 2 defensive scores. And defensive score is rare event in the history of these teams. I cant remember anytime when a game between Pats and Classics had 2 defensive scores.

1st drive was easy on Pats, steamrolled the opposition, and made an easy score. Then Classics had a decent 1turn attempt which failed at the goalline. (As so many 1turn attempts against Pats.)

Then Classics drove, and went right after Pats players. Maybe a little overextended. Zidina made a sack, but the opponent kept the ball due to a lucky bounce and nice sack. But in the following turn Classics had critical fail, out of rerolls (after agressively going after Pats players). Then Zidina made a sack again, and this time Patton caught the lucky bounce, and drove home.

Last drive broke down for Classics again, who were out of rerolls and were cornered, baller marked by Patton. There was no answer to that defense, and after Bortles made the sack, Bruschi picked up the ball, and Patton run forward for the score after some passing.

Not all was bright. Pats lost the bash game again. Adams, Clifton, Winston were badly hurt. On the other hand, the rest of the team is picking up the pace and pulling their weights, and are able to drive to victory. Some old bones should do better, so the team fires in all cylinders, but it is looking good for the playoffs having a bye, having a relatively healthy and full roster, which is able to win games without winning the bash game. This is defenetly new to this franchize.

On to the bye week, tough opponents, lets not slack too much!
