“Fun game against the Undead. Vikings started out kicking and got a Blitz, which worked out very well. Eventually the shamblers snatched the ball up and hobbled of for a last-minute touchdown. The viking coach had kept both secret weapons off pitch and was left with Boomer for a single turn (in which he did nothing due to some clumsy Norseman rolling double skulls) and Helmut not doing a lot of good either.

The Vikings started out second half 9 vs 7 and kept the pressure on the undead, blocking them at every turn and eventually caging up and walking down the field for a touchdown. The blocking game was won 43-34, but the undead were far superior foulers, winning fouls 5-0!

The Mighty Blow players of the Vikings did a fine job of grinding the bones of the undead, and causing 5 casualties in total!

Helmut got two blocks in, then hurt himself badly on the chainsaw on the third attempt.

Game was played in good cheer, friendly opponent.

And two players skilled up on the Viking team after the game, one of them a junior lineman who got +AG. This will make for some interesting possibilities...”
