“Exciting game against some very tenacious lizards. Two early kills (including a saurus that Brionne tried to save with an apo but failed to bring back from the Other Side) left them struggling, and the Krox was KO'd for all of the first and a bit of the second half.

A riot broke out after the first TD, giving the lizards 4 whole turns to equalize... which they proceeded to do despite being badly outmanned, thanks to some Skink magic dodging and ball handling. Very nice.

In the second half, the Vikings were soon back to full strength, while the lizards were constantly undermanned. Nevertheless, they got a skink running and scoring the 2-1 early on! 2-2 came at turn 6 of the second half, and then Nuffle granted the Vikings a blitz which let them place their AG4 ball carrier squat where the ball landed (thanks in part to a well-placed Kick). Some shenanigans later let the vikings run the ball in for the victory at the very last second of the game.

Vikings considered fouling a few times, but decided against it... either the chances of success were too small against the sauri, or the benefit insufficient against the puny skinks.

Final skink death was not at the hand of a viking but due to a failed dodge. The Norse player swears she didn't touch him none!

Friendly game played in good cheer, and could easily have gone either way with some other dice. Just as it should be!”
