“After countless pummellings from dwarfs, elves and probably anybody who deigns to turn up, at last we got a match against an ogre team.

A few nasty surprises - I didn't cover the ball when I received it, and got punished with an early score and some players immediately banned. Fouling snotlings is a very stupid idea as it's better to hit them when they're standing up (though side step is *very* aggravating). Overconfidently, I pronounced that I'd equalise by half time and kill all his snotlings. I almost managed it - but the clock ran out with me out of range of the end zone, and he had one surviving snotling on the pitch.

Second half, he almost got me for a second score, but his cunning plan to sneak up the side failed when Major Misunderstanding took down the last remaining snotling, and the Prince Regent, useful for once in his life, pogoed to the other end of the pitch, just out of blitz range (thanks to Civite for teaching me extra caution on that) and eventually saving the draw with a 16th turn equaliser.

Meanwhile, a total of 9 casualties. One dead, one journeyman with a broken neck, and Queen Booby Doob managing to take down an Ogre to keep her casualty average at a consistent 1 per game.
